Nick Rowell
Oregon not only grows big steelhead, but great steelhead guides as well. Having grown up near the Siletz River on the Oregon Coast, Nick became a steelhead fisherman at a young age. Nick graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in fisheries and wildlife. Nick's guiding experience includes three seasons on the Kanektok River in Alaska (Alaska West) and two years guiding Portland area winter steelhead rivers. Nick lives in the Portland area, in the heart of Oregon's steelhead country. With a strong backround in spey casting to anadromous fish, Nick is one of the most well rounded, laid back, yet technical fly fishing guides you will find.
